1) Keep the distance between your counters and customers as short as possible!
Customers don’t really care how far they have to walk, but it does matter how long it takes your server to get to them.
The longer your server has to walk, the less money you’ll make.
Try to keep your counters kind of close to the middle of your Cafe- this is one of my most important Cafe World layout ideas.
2) Use every inch of your space!
Make sure you’re squeezing in as many tables as you can without restricting the flow of traffic.
Just leave at least one side open for your server to place the food on the table, and don’t make customers crawl over each other to get to their chairs (because they won’t do it!)
So basically if you put chairs along the wall, leave at least one side of the chair open for your customer to get to it.
3) Trying using rows or a horseshoe shape.
These are a few Cafe World layout ideas that you can try that have both worked well for me- when you get tired of one, try the other one!
They work great because they use allow a lot of tables, give plenty of room for your customers to get to their seats, and have open spaces in front of the table so your server can get to them.
